Sarah Palin or Tina Fey for Vice President?

Why does it seem like everybody is slamming Governor Palin? What’s wrong with Sarah Palin?! Personally I don’t think anything is. I think McCain made a smart move in selecting her as his vice presidential nominee. Why? Well for starters, she’s a woman in a leadership position which shows McCain is open to the idea of a woman president and is also not sexist (not that choosing a male vice presidential candidate would make him sexist by any means). She is capable. She has been getting things done in Alaska even though no one has known about it. Why hasn’t anybody known about it? Because it’s Alaska were talking about. I don’t understand why so many people criticize her for having Christian values and then go straight to the fact that one of her daughters got pregnant. Palin holds those values even if her daughter doesn’t. It wasn’t Palin that got pregnant! You don’t hear nearly as many people criticizing Mrs. Spears because Jamie Lynn got pregnant. Values or no it’s still unconventional. Another reason why McCain made a smart move in choosing Palin is because she is fairly young. If McCain had chosen an older candidate closer to his own age I don’t think that would have gone over as well. People like the hype that Palin creates. She brings something fresh to the table and youth into McCain’s campaign which is something he needed because now you don’t hear nearly so many comments on his age or at least I haven’t since Palin entered the arena. And also, Palin walks her talk. She supports gun ownership and she hunts. She has made the environment high on her list and has worked to harvest natural resources in her state and prolong their use. So do you think selecting Palin was a good move or not so much?
